Do NOT work with Jodi. The other staff seem nice. But Jodi treats her clients unfairly, and does not make accommodations for your schedule at all. When I called to try to set up different times to view a house she huffed and puffed over the phone like it was a waste of her time. When I did manage to take time off of work to go to the open house she all but ignored my roommate and I, instead opting to focus her time on the “more adult” looking couple. I feel that because we are young she thinks we aren’t serious about renting. She was also extremely rude to my fiancé over the phone. We applied for one property through her and she said our application and credit all looked good but she had to offer the house to someone who got their application in first. House was in a great location across from the beach, upstairs patio gave a beautiful view of surf, sunsets and locals. The only negative is that the house needs some TLC, it's showing its wear and needs an extra good cleaning. The rugs are very dirty, black along showers, blinds are dirty and most do not work

Rented a house through Baily Property Management on the VRBO website. (23311 East Cliffe, Santa Cruz). We were given an incorrect address to the property and arrived on a Sunday when they were closed, so we could not find our rental house for over 2 hours. There was a hot tub advertised, yet when we arrived the hot tub was broken so we never got to use it. They did give us a $70 refund for 4 days, but still "not cool". The house was dirty when we arrived. No towels. No garbage bags. No bed sheets. No ice. Just a really crappy set up and was not inviting for guests. I rent houses every time I vacation, and this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. It just felt really un-inviting and like we were getting ripped off. Do not rent 622 Cliff Drive in Aptos, CA. The place is very poorly maintained home and has not been updated since originally built. There are spiders webs in every corner occupied by spiders. The stove does not work well, took an hour to scramble eggs. The downstairs bathroom has black mold growing under the vinyl floor and smells. The upstairs gets extremely hot on sunny days and there are no windows that you can open to circulate cool air. You would like to believe that Bailey's would think more of their customers than to rent out this piece of garbage.
