I recently moved to the U.S. with my family and applied for an apartment at Axis Crossroads at a time when I didn’t yet have a Social Security Number. I only had my visa and job offer, and securing a lease quickly was essential so my children could enroll in school. Tamisha and the entire front desk team were incredibly supportive throughout the application process. They guided me step by step, explained all the unspoken details that are unfamiliar to newcomers, and helped make sure my application had everything needed to be approved smoothly. Their support truly made a stressful transition much easier. They even helped me locate a set of lost keys I had reported, which was a huge relief. After moving in, Tamisha also assisted me with raising my first maintenance request, and the mainte
Do not move here if you enjoy basic utilities and access to advertised services. Despite paying extra for a unit with a washer and dryer (generally charged ~$50 to $100 at other complexes), it has been inoperable for over a month with no response. When my water heater broke and was leaking water it took 5 hours for ANYONE to take a look, despite it starting to leak at 2pm. We are forced to pay money for a "valet trash service" and it's a complete coinflip if they take the trash out or not. It took 13 months for them to replace my microwave. Horrible communication, bad experience.
Love living here. We had a few issue upon move in that were fixed with a couple visits to the office. The issue right now is being charged for additional electrical recharges monthly. When we have gone into the office to address it, they take it off immediately, take our Duke account number, and promise this won’t be an issue again. This issue persists each month and for the past two weeks we have emailed, called, and walked in. Despite our efforts to get this resolved, we received a letter stating if we do not pay these unwarranted charges we will need to vacate by March. This is super stressful as we have yet to receive a reply and have been aware of this issue. Please advise how we can fix this asap.
Whatever system is in place for upkeep of facilities, managing leases, and addressing maintenance requests isn’t working. Amenities needing addressed (most for many months): - pool (told residents goal of Memorial Day weekend, closed and all dirty 3 weeks later) - package center - lack of wifi for work/study rooms - public bathrooms (no water for sinks, toilets almost always backed up) - public computers and printer don’t work, coffee machine, etc. Maintenance requests and any administrative questions take often weeks for a response or no response at all, requiring you to go in person to address. Even when they tell you things will get done, you often have to go in more to remind. The staff are always nice; however, I don’t trust them until I start to see these long term issues getting re
AVOID AVOID AVOID! I moved here with my wife and 1 month old baby from another state on Friday, Oct 18. Application process was smooth, and it was all great until I landed at this place. I reached here 12 days after my lease start date and followed up at least 10 times before coming here to ensure that apartment is move-in ready and all the issues were taken care, so they had enough time for all this.. It was anything but move-in ready when we opened the door, Bedroom carpet had stains, blind was broken, closet was all dirty and stained, door lock had no batteries, patio was all dirty with spider webs all around, few things were broken in bathrooms, fan lamp was not working, air filter was not replaced and there was bad smell all around and list goes on, forget about cleaning, it wasn’t
