Avian Place Apartments

Bad experience with my attempt to become a tenant. I was scheduled for a 2PM tour today. When I arrived on time, I noticed paper clock on the door with the time set for 3 PM for the staff return. I call repeatedly but no response. I waited but no arrival. I decided to seek other options. That was a no show by the staff. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else moving forward.

Sooo I've lived here since January and I've yet to receive a mail key. I've made serval attempts to obtain one and been met with excuses each and every time. First few times it was cuz they needed to make a copy. That's fine. Then I return weeks later to find that the "machine was down" yeah ok... I wait months and continued using the "general" key i guess is what it is. Just a key that opens the mailboxes and was always told "bring it straight back" only key other than my apartment key I've been given. Now I call AGAIN and for the second time I'm being told I've received one already which is wild bc why do I have to wait for the front office to give me a key just to get my mail. If I'd lost my key that'd be one thing. I'd own up to it but to tell me I've been given one when we signed this

Horrible place.. apartments have black mold door frames are broken from previous break ins.. owner never addresses maintenance items.. had 2 outlets in apartment that were sparking and was told I needed to turn off breaker.. had no power in living room of apartment for 1month took 3 1/2 months to get mailbox key washers are always broken all carpets have mold under them.. most ground level apartments flooded in 2024 and have not been treated! They’re response is well send a carpet cleaning crew and after you can still see the mold protruding through carpet and walls.. if you value your life or finances I’d find a better place to live! Not to mention pool is never open.. and a parking lots flood every rain storm

Staff is very friendly and polite office is clean apartments are clean when I did my walk through the apartment was up to par with a lot of room and rent is very reasonable

The maintenance man terry is awesome he fixed everything in like 15 min unlike the old guy who would put band aids to fix everything and I’ve waiting since the beginning of my lease for things to be fixed and told me I was the problem but besides that! Terry came in addressed all the issues and more and did it so fast and efficient. I wasn’t going to renew my lease cause of the lack of care but with the new crew coming in they are turning avian place around! Very happy with the experience!!
