Avalon Oaks Apartments

I have lived at Avalon Oak for 14 years. I have always been treated with respect. The office staff do an amazing job. Special shout out to Christene, Beth, Kaelo, Wonder and Chris. I appreciate all your hard work.

Review 2 : 08.24.2025 Woke up on August 21, 2025 to both my windows on the passenger side smashed in. About 60 cars in the apartment were hit. Many tenants were in outrage as cars have gotten broken into prior and even stolen, just look at the most recent reviews. Apartment management took zero measures to secure the parking lot. People have installed their own cameras out of frustration. I have attached tons of photos to validate this incident. Do yourself a favor and look at other communities. My car's damage was $3000! If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I lived at Avalon Oaks for barely a month before receiving a job promotion that required me to relocate. When I informed the office, I was told I still had to pay an additional 60 days of rent and all utilities—fine, that was part of the agreement. What was not fine was what happened next. While I lived there, my water bill never exceeded $40–$50. The moment I moved out, those numbers skyrocketed to $68 the first month and an outrageous $98 the second month, all while the apartment was supposedly vacant. Before moving out, I was told that no one was allowed to tour or move into my unit until my final date. Yet when I questioned these absurd utility charges, the office suddenly became unreachable. Would rate a 0/10 if possible. This is not the Avalon Oaks that I remembered it being in 2020. I moved in June and have had nothing but issues with my “newly renovated” unit that took 3 months to remodel. There has been black mold in my furnace room since the first day moving in, however they have added a statement about mold in the lease agreement which makes them unaccountable. *CARS GET BROKEN INTO/ STOLEN DAILY AND OFFICE WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT* Car windows get busted about once a week, 75 at once being the most so far but will get broken into daily. My car was stolen out of the parking lot 3 days ago and all the office says to do is “make a police report”. Great staff, great service and the apartments are in a wonderful area. Neighborhood and neighbors are pleasant and they accept dogs which is even better for a dog owner such as myself. They have a nice size pool as well as a dog spa for the animals and a dog park in the back of the apartment complex. Everything is within walking distance such as gas stations and grocery stores so it perfectly placed. Trinity and Beth are both wonderful and do a great job attending to any questions and/or needs you may have.
