Avalon Bay Communities

My wife and I moved to Avalon Apts around March of 2013. At first, we felt that it was important to leave in a good community even if it meant to pay higher than we would have paid in other places. The children seemed to enjoy the community. However, AvalonBay Communities Management personnel lacks sensitivity. We have been at the Avalon for 3 years. We paid between $3100 to $3400/month for three years. The last time we were late, we almost got evicted resulting in a $750 eviction fee. Even when we were paying after the 5th, we always paid the late. We changed apt from 527 Avalon Court Dr to 416 leaving the apt spotless, still our security deposit was retained. Our dryer had not been functioning, and Nico was sent to take a look. After moving the machine out, he realized the problem was in the vent, which he proceeded to clean. After awhile, he succeeded, and the dryer is back to working 100%. Nico was a total professional in his approach to his job. Guys like Nico are one of the reasons me & my wife are going on 23 years here at Avalon Court North.

I couldn't ask for better maintenance people living here the past 3 months. Candido has been great and has gone above and beyond even with the smallest of questions. Thank you so much!

I moved out of one of there communities after 3 years. worst experience ever. Now all i get is harassment calls from them and a collection agency for bogus charges. DON'T LEASE FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I should also mention that a neighbor of mine all has the same issue with them as well.

Had a great experience with the maintenance staff, Danny V and Dan A. They came and fixed my washing machine that was giving me trouble in no time, great service.
