I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism from this leasing office. Throughout the process of terminating my lease, there was little to no clear guidance provided. Important details were never properly explained, and documentation outlining the steps and requirements was either missing or incomplete. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of verbal acknowledgment of prior conversations. I had multiple discussions with staff members regarding my intent to terminate my lease, yet when it came time to follow through, there was no record, no notes, and no accountability. Run from this management company and DO NOT rent here. They continued to bill us for utilities after we moved out (even though we paid BGE direct and was current through our move out date), tried to continue to charge us rent after our lease was over and keys were handed in, and ensured we did not get our security deposit back. Additionally, they did not send us an itemized list of these expenses until 2.5 months after our move out date which was triggered by us finally asking for our security deposit back (Maryland law requires this itemized list to be mailed within 45 days). On top of that, they assessed late fees to the account over this 2.5 month period, and then threatened collections- all while we have texted, called, and emailed with NO responses. Living at Autumn Columbia has honestly been one of the smoothest rental experiences I’ve had in Maryland. The buildings are quiet, the area’s peaceful, and everything I’ve needed has been taken care of right away. The property manager is always super chill and easy to talk to, which I really appreciate. I’ve had a couple random things I needed help with and he handled them without making it a big deal. It makes a huge difference having someone in the office who actually cares and treats people with respect. Overall it’s been a really solid place to live.

I have been living at this property for a while and I recently had a few complaints and I went to the leasing office and spoke to the property manager Zara. She was very kind and down to earth and resolved the issues in a very fast and professional manner. I love my apartment and have been loving my experience at this property.

Great place to live. The neighborhood is calm, parking is easy, and the staff is always cool with me. The property manager is honestly one of the nicest people I’ve met in an apartment office. He always helps out and never gives you attitude. No complaints at all.
