Audubon Lake

I have never written a review- but Audubon Lake really disappointed me in my final 6 months there. I moved to the property, as recent college undergrad, in 2018. It was great, I had a quaint 1bdrm/1 bath. It was an awesome location, affordable, and had access to the airport. Then, in Sept 2022, Ticon Properties increased the rent by 400-600 dollars (unless I was willing to sign a 18 month lease). This came with no upgrades or amenity changes-- just a really high increase in rent. Regardless, I decided to sign a 6 month lease because it was convenient and I had been really pleased with my experience with the property until that point. Around the time of my final lease renewal, the property began making the living experience so unpleasant. The people downstairs would get into screaming fight

I had high hopes for this place. Don’t get me wrong the people at the office are friendly. But ever since i moved in ive had problem after problem. Our home was never finished properly and had to wait up to 3 weeks after moving for our cabinet doors. Then the dryer stopped working or more like never worked at all. Our clothes are drying for 4 hours and i have to go wash and dry my clothes somewhere else. It’s ridiculous we’re even paying the extra 100 for the “premium” package nothing premium about it it feels like. The carpet that was installed and “premium” was put it all chopped up looking and terrible it looks like they didn’t care at all. Our kitchen sink faucet is dripping and dripping constantly. Our disposal has never worked since we moved it and mind you we’ve been here since 1/20

It's a good place to live. Even when things inevitably go wrong as they do with all apartments, the staff always fixes the issues. The geese can be noisy, but honestly that's probably my only complaint. You may not get the most updated hardware. My cabinets are ancient, but everything is clean, and the carpet is new. That's all that really mattered to me.

My neighbors downstairs are living like Cheech and Chong in their apartment. All the pot smoke blows into the other apartments and you can smell it while walking outside. Too many obnoxiously loud neighbors. Office will do NOTHING if you complain. So move here if you want to live next to drug dealers who are obnoxiously loud!! They constantly jack up the prices every year also. They caused USPS to not deliver our packages for several months and did nothing about it.

Highly disappointed in the complex. They have no loyalty or respect for people that have rented for years. Just another money hungry complex. Glad to be moving out soon. Also many break-ins lately, residents have no where to park due to maintenance staff personal vehicles and the maintenance vehicles. Gym amenity is horrible. No running tv or music there. Machines are not cleaned also it’s not unlimited access they only have it open certain times of day. Had to call several times for my washing machine to be replaced took almost a month for a replacement.
