Great community! The apartments have been renovated and that look amazing! I lived here several years ago and I am here again now that I moved back to Charlottesville. I have always loved the location and now I also love the apartment I am in and the new Property Manager, Daniel, is a true professional. He is quick to answer all my questions and he made the move in process super easy and fun! Highly recommend if you're moving to the area or looking for a new place to live!
Hey, here's my review of Attain on 5th, I'd say everything is going pretty smoothly for the most part. I'd like to give a huge shout out to maintenance for their incredible work they do, Hendricks whose top dog and Zachary. They have been on top of their "A" game and get their job done. I really appreciate them. I know whoever Hendricks hires has my full faith that they will do the job right and be the right person. Thank you Hendricks and Zachary for your amazing work. I know you guys work tirelessly to get things done and even stay after hours to complete task and or additional tasks. Much appreciated 👏 💐. Extremely Disappointing Experience at Attain on 5th I moved from California and signed a lease in July after being promised a “brand new” renovated unit. I paid $400 in fees, but just weeks before moving in, I learned the entire management team had left and the new staff didn’t even have my information. Thankfully, a temporary manager helped us, but the apartment itself was a nightmare , far from what we were promised, especially for the high price we were paying. When we moved in, the unit reeked of smoke from a downstairs neighbor, and we found dead insects scattered everywhere. The fridge was filthy, the rubber door seal was falling apart, and the door wouldn’t stay shut. We literally had to tape it closed just to prevent our food from spoiling. Updated review: When we first moved in, there were several issues that required frequent follow-up and communication was often lacking. However, since Daniel became the property manager, things have noticeably improved. He’s been attentive, responsive, and genuinely cares about resident concerns. Our biggest need was to feel heard, and we now feel the property is taking us seriously. There has been very little that has gone right since moving into our new (shoddily renovated) apartment. Our lease is wrong, the utility payments have been wrong. I was advised to cancel my electric account. Then several months later huge amounts started showing up on the bill for electric. I’ve sent 2 emails to the property manager that have gone unanswered about this. The concierge trash service has been spotty. At least once a week we have to take our own trash to the dumpster in the morning even though it was out in plenty of time the night before. We are paying for amenities but they are not available because they lock the clubhouse when nobody is in the office , which is when most residents are not working. The office is usually closed early.
