Atlas Durham

My husband and I moved in to Atlas back in the summer and immediately loved everything about it! I didn’t want to write a review immediately in case those feelings wore off after living here for a while, but I can say I still love living here even months after move-in. The location is incredible - we have easy access to so much of downtown while still enjoying relative quiet for city living. We were fortunate to snag a unit on the top floor and inside the “U” shape (over looking the pool) because I think this provides an even quieter living experience. The management team is incredible - it seems like Lucas and Kelly joined the Atlas team around the time we moved in, and I’m grateful they are our on-site support. We have lived at the Atlas for almost 2 years and have had a great experience. The location is fantastic and all of down town is easily walkable. There are many great restaurants in the area that are a short walk away. Having the Durham farmer's market so close is a big plus! The management and maintenance teams are very professional and always respond quickly. The building is well maintained and residents are always updated right away on the goings on of the building. We have also loved the community events that the management throw for residents and have had so much fun making crafts or grabbing drinks along with the other residents. Only decided to move out because we are out growing our square footage. Would highly recommend living at the Atlas for down town durham living!

He patiently addressed all my inquiries and accommodated my requests to view multiple units. Furthermore, the offer of two months' complimentary rent is a significant incentive. Review after 9 months: I can honestly say that this is one of the few rental experiences that hasn’t been absolute hell. In fact, it’s actually been a pleasure living here! Sean and Michelle are patient, proactive, responsive, and empathetic. Atlas is in the IDEAL location to walk to all of downtown Durham’s attractions and is close enough to public transportation to access the best of the triangle area. Maintenance is responsive and respectful. Appliances are up to date and clean—I’ve never had any issue more than a clogged sink. NO MOLD!!! NO PESTS!! YAY. There are modern and functional communal spaces to work indoors and outdoors and the few events I’ve attended have been a blast. I have completed several apartment tours downtown Durham, and I was encouraged to check out Atlas by a current resident. Atlas really blew me away! The leasing team was responsive and helpful in answering my questions and allowing me to see multiple units to determine what I wanted. They really worked with me to find a unit that I was interested in!
