Astoria at Celebration

I’ve lived at Astoria Apartments in Celebration for around 3 years, and the quality has declined drastically. Management has completely failed to maintain the property or take responsibility for major issues that affect residents. The complex stopped paying HOA fees, which means residents have lost access to amenities we were promised and pay for. The pool area is filthy, often covered in mold, and the water is not properly cleaned or maintained. I’ve personally found larva in the pool cushions and have photo documentation to prove it. Maintenance is unprofessional and inappropriate—one staff member made my girlfriend uncomfortable with his behavior. I’ve had a great experience living at Astoria Apartments at Celebration, especially since the new management took over. You can really see and feel the difference they’re making in the community. Communication has improved, maintenance requests are handled more efficiently, and the staff genuinely seems to care about residents and the overall atmosphere of the property. The community feels more organized, welcoming, and well-maintained, and it’s clear that positive changes are ongoing. It’s encouraging to see management actively working to improve the quality of life here. I’m happy to call Astoria home and look forward to continuing to see the community grow and improve under this new leadership.

I’ve been disappointed so far with Astoria. I’ve been here 5 months so far and it’s less than what I expected. The day I moved in the management company had changed and the front office seemed fairly unprepared. New resident portal, new way to pay rent and submit maintenance requests. I had an unfinished stucco project on my balcony which I was told they were “waiting for the humidity to go down” before they finished it. It’s still incomplete. The state of my apartment and appliances when I moved in was lacking. Almost all the drawers have some sort of water damage. My dishwasher was dirty upon move in and leaves a film on my dishes. When I said it might need to be replaced maintenance seemed to have come in, ran it, and left. The dryer lint tray and drum has rust and the vent in the back
