We have worked with many realtors in Aspen over the years and have always had professional experiences, which is why this situation was so disappointing. One of your agents, Scott Bayens, communicated with our team in a way that was genuinely shocking and completely unacceptable. The way he spoke to a female member of our staff was hostile, disrespectful, and unprofessional. This type of behavior reflects extremely poorly on the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. If this is the level of professionalism being tolerated, I would strongly encourage leadership to take a closer look at how agents are representing the company or this particular agent.

Let the renter beware. They charge a 3% concierge fee, the housekeeping fee is hourly so watch out (over $1,200) and a delivery fee of wood was $400. I should have known when they asked for a $3,000 deposit. I rent 3-4 ski houses a year and this was the first time I had to write a negative review.

If you want a luxury experience with people who truly understand this unique market then this is the firm for you.
