Aspen Place Apartments

My significant others dog was attacked by another tenants dog. The other tenants dog ripped the leash out of their hand and sprinted across the property to bite our dog. The other dog had to be wrestled to the ground and held until the owner could get over to assist. My significant other chose to move the next day out of fear and confusion on how to handle the situation, not wanting to get police involved or the dog put down for attacking her dog. She chose to take herself out of the situation. William the property manager over at Aspen place apartments was notified. He took no action. William said he reviewed the footage and spoke to his supervisor but instead of refunding the deposit from a unit that was left clean, they charged a lease break fee. Absolutely terrible management. Lived there with my family for 5 months while we looked for a home. Kept all of our deposit and said we owed an additional $1000. My wife is an absolute neat freak and kept the place spotless for the duration of our stay. They also get negative posts on social media and poor reviews removed so you can’t do the appropriate research. The manager there Heather would send out mass texts to every tenant several times a day in very rude tones. Treats tenants like prisoners that are forced to live there. Buildings are falling apart. All the gutters are stuffed with debris so you get water falls all around the apartment causing the buildings to sink and all the floors to be very uneven. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. I have lived in the aspen place apartments for a year now and my landlord is amazing, she has went above and beyond to help me with my complaints on my upstairs neighbor and she is very attentive and listens to your concerns and is proactive. The only issues I have had here is my upstairs neighbor is very disrespectful and doesn’t care about others! And the maintenance isn’t great they try to blame you for everything, even wear and tear from an aging apartment, or after they say they fix something but don’t actually fix it so then you have the same issue as before and they blame you! Honestly my landlord is amazing, she is very proactive when people park in your spot , she’s good at communicating and always on top of things! DO NOT MOVE HERE! Let me tell you management is a joke , they are more worried on how the outside looks then inside . I made several noice complaints and they did nothing about it . Asked for maintenance multiple times and no one came out . At the end of our lease we only got $100 back from our deposit. Our place was completely cleaned and taken care of . We even had the carpets cleaned ourselves and sent in the receipt. The charged us $639 for their own maintenance team to come in to clean when it was not necessary. We paid for free labor . We called diversified property management and not only were they extremely rude when we asked questions about our deposit. They hung up on us saying “ they didn’t want to talk to us” . Save your money and sanity this place is a joke

Very happy with my stay here. Moved when I found a home but loved my cozy apartment at Aspen Ridge. The manager Michelle was very helpful and made the move-in and move-out process painless. The apartment was brand new and very clean. Great location in town. Loved having a washer and dryer tucked away in the hallway and extra storage outside as well. Also really liked the carpet color. The wood flooring was also easy to keep clean. Overall I’m satisfied with my experience at Aspen Ridge...great bang for your buck:)
