I went to drop off money order during office hours no one was there knocked on door called so many times I gave up and came.until today they haven’t for the voicemail I left. Wouldn’t even give one star

I live in a duplex that was foreclosed on in August of this year (2022). I requested in writing the return of my 1,000. security deposit, as this property is no longer under Aspen Management, and have called the office more times than I can count. 21 days is the amount of time they have by law to return my deposit that is in a trust with Bank of America. This A$$ Real Estate Company is going to make me take them to court to get my money back! I have lived in unit 20 years and twice they said I owned over 3,000 in back rent because THEY did NOT apply my Federal Housing Money to My Account. They refuse to return my calls and know nothing about the Legal System they are required to adhere to. We had the worse experience with this company possible. When we moved in the home things were broken. We submitted numerous maintenance request and non were answered. They always told us that they had to check with the owner. Due to the fact that I am a landlord myself, It's hard to believe that the owner didn't want to pay for proper up keep of their property. I wonder if they even expressed our concerns to the owner. After this experience we actually decided against purchasing a home in Washington for fear of obtaining a bad rental company. I can thank Aspen for that.

Just shy of 3 years of with this company & I finally reached my breaking point. I turned the condo over in extremely good condition to Aspen. (Pix on yelp). Below are the issues I encountered. They are my own personal experience. -My rental didn't get listed. Apparently they had a miscommunication & my property sat empty & unlisted for 2 weeks. They knocked some money off of their set up fee for that mishap. -Late rent. I called about some late payments I was told that yes some payments had been made late, but no late fees were ever charged. They couldn't tell me why, only that it was another bookkeeper who wasn't with them anymore. I was told at one point a fee would be assessed for a specific month and it was never done. -Short Rent.
