Aspen Heights Towson

A FAILURE AT EVERY TURN. Easily one of the poorest run apartments in the STATE. They hired children to run the dilapidated dump. BEFORE MOVING IN: TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING. They WILL charge you when you move out. You're gonna have to challenge it. They will tell you "Only the manager can-" you know, like liars. CHALLENGE EVERY CHARGE, there will be a lot of them. If you can live somewhere, ANYWHERE, else, do so!! This place should be shut down. hallways reek of booze and smoke all the time, garbage shoot is always backed up AND let's not forget the mold issues. Seriously, this place is the worst! Save your money and self! oh, and before i forget...Aspen, you're welcome for my feedback. now, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

The property management in this building is absolutely disgusting. As someone that works in real estate and customer service industry, I don’t understand how these people have a job. Ive spoke with other tenants of the building and this is what I concluded. They completely disregard emails no matter the importance of the matter. They rarely ever follow up with phone calls, and when you have to continuously reach out to them you’re confronted with an “I don’t care “ attitude. They have no system. They do not take notes or enter any data. The computer screen is usually on YouTube. They slouch around on their phones, paying no attention who enters and leave the building (a resident said she watched a homeless man walk, use the elevator and utilize the lounge) There is much more I can rant ab

If you attend Towson University, don’t live in Aspen. One of the worst locations I’ve lived at during my time in Towson. Rent is way too expensive and not worth it. Above that, Aspen continuously finds ways to increase rental month and charge you extra for anything. Their parking situation is ridiculous and having to pay $100 a month for a guest to park in a resident spot is so funny to me. Every weekend, they’ll block off one entrance to the parking garage attempting to fix a gate that’s broken once a week. They finally closed one elevator, but before that it was running for weeks even though it was broken!! It happened to me and a whole bunch of residents where we would be on the elevator and it would just randomly drop a floor. Also, don’t send anything this to this apartment complex!!!

While the apartment itself is very up to date compared to the on campus living at Towson, I am still very disappointed in the Apartment complex itself. They like to charge you for any reason but aren’t able to keep up with the place. They gates are always broke which is inconsiderate due to the fact that we pay an extra $100 a month for our parking but they won’t even think to offer a discounted rate while people park for free! The elevators are always trashed. The hallways smell horrible. The staff can take days to weeks for a call back or email response. They also do not let you break your lease for ANYTHING! They aren’t very accommodating and I always have issues with the residence portal. I also wish they offered semester (6-month) leases versus the full 12 years for people who may not

A lot of these bad reviews are from when Aspen first was built/move in ready. A lot of the confusion was because of Towson university and their ill ability to plan and move people in. The apartments are very nice. Upon move in I did trash on the floor and the table tops were not cleaned off. Definitely shows that they didn’t go through and clean beforehand. In unit washer and dryer and locks on the doors. I will say the parking garage situation is ridiculous. Having visitors pay for parking is just stupid. Might as well have them park at the Towson garage and walk over. We should get a guest pass. The staff seemed for the most part friendly, except during move in we watched a family struggling to get on the elevator and a maintenance worker and another employee just watched them and didn’t
