Aspen Gold works hard as a team to make their tenants happy. The owner is extremely nice, and with only have 2 maintenance technicians there, they kick butt getting the job done, sometimes even after hours staying to complete repairs. The homes/offices they offer for rent are nice for the value. Couldn't recommend this place more if you are looking for your next house or in need of a small office space in the downtown area.

I would not recommend renting from Aspen Gold. My experience has been consistently frustrating and disappointing. Communication is nearly impossible—they rarely return phone calls or respond in a timely manner, which makes resolving even simple issues unnecessarily stressful. The units themselves are not in great condition. Maintenance is clearly not a priority, and the properties are in need of significant updates. Despite this, the rent is unreasonably high for what you get. Overall, the lack of professionalism and disregard for tenants' time and concerns makes this a poor choice for anyone looking for a reliable and respectful rental experience. Look elsewhere if you value communication, upkeep, and fair pricing.

I contacted Mike and Aspen Gold when we were getting ready to start our business to see if they had any commercial space available. As luck would have it, they had a space opening up in one of their buildings that was perfect for our new venture. Starting a new business is always stressful, but Mike and the entire team at Aspen Gold have been tremendously helpful to us and have ensured that we had a smooth transition. Everything from negotiating the lease to the build-out of our space has been done with ease. Cannot recommend them enough.

Mike Christensen gave me and my roommate a tour of the 2800 Clay building. Upon giving us a tour of the garage I pointed out that one particular parking space was overly cluttered and he said "Yeah look like we have some Fast and Furious guy here, we will need to talk to him about this." The guy clearly did work on his car in this area which was not permitted. The area was never cleaned up. He wanted to buy my washer and dryer, which I thought was weird. Here's the real kicker... My roommate manages a much larger property than Aspen Gold owns. A high end property with over 300 residents. (Too far for us to live at) When we walked into this place, you could tell somebody did a half a-- job at cleaning it. My roommate is a stickler for a clean unit with fair condition carpets. I rented at 2800 clay st for 6 months. I moved into a very dirty apartment, grime everywhere and a super moldy washing machine. Upon move out 650 dollars was withheld from my security deposit for light cleaning and 5 blinds that were damaged. The blinds were in the exact same condition as when I moved in and I spent 2 days making sure the apartment was immaculate. When I inquired about these charges I was told now only 2 blinds were damaged and I would be partially refunded. In my years of renting I have never once had a deposit withheld for cleaning or damages. This company seems to make it their business plan to extort security deposit money from tenants but unlike probably most of their tenants they take advantage of I will be sueing for 3x the amount as allowed under denver law so ho
