Ashlake Crossings Apartment 55+ Community

Staff here needs to be better at communicating. We were shown a unit in the Ashlake Crossing building and assured that the other building was the same. We were also told a ballpark rent figure could not be given and that rent was on a sliding scale based on income, so in order to know how much rent would be, we would need to go through the entire application process. (Which is not true) After applying I only qualified for the other building with no explanation as to why. And rent was NOT on a sliding scale, it was the standard restricted property rate. I hesitated at that point but was excited about the apartment regardless. Ashlake is a beautiful senior property in Chesterfield County. This is not a HUD Property at all. It's close to everything and has a beautiful setting. Definitely worth checking out.

Nice apartments, but rent is high considering it's a HUD property! Monthly rent is based on income. No amenities on site except for workout room, and no washer and dryer. Staff and neighbors are nice and friendly.

Very beautiful complex. Phoned this morning to ask for a tour today, if possible. Spoke to George who was so warm, informative, and friendly. (He is such an awesome presence). Throughly enjoyed my tour.

Very nice apartments.. full rent is way to high.. your neighbor could be HUD and only playing 100 bucks.... not fair
