Asden Little Havana Management

The living conditions at this property are unacceptable and inhumane. Management has repeatedly failed to address serious health and safety concerns, including a persistent rat infestation within my apartment. I have made numerous complaints, all of which have been ignored. In addition to neglecting maintenance issues, management staff has been consistently rude and unprofessional. Residents appear to be taken advantage of due to a lack of alternative housing options, which raises serious concerns regarding tenant rights and habitability standards.

Before I moved in back in August 2023, the person who I dealt with by the name of MILVIO MARTINEZ, asked me to transfer him $400 through Zelle in order to "secure" the apartment. As soon as I moved in, the whole building was filled with cockroaches, insects and mice. I understand this is Miami, I understand that people need to rent, and that sometimes 5 or 7 persons live in one unit. But not fumigating, not taking care of the buildings, is inhumane. Especially when there are children living inside the units of these buildings, because it seems to me like they operate many units in the Little Havana area. it is disgusting. And when I told them I was going to move out, they started telling me about a letter in advance, about another payment in advance. I paid my rent every single month. neve

The management is absolutely vile. If i could give zero stars, I would. This management company is the definition of unprofessional and neglectful. Maintenance requests go unanswered for weeks (if they respond at all), and when someone finally shows up, the work is rushed and incomplete. The leasing office staff is rude, dismissive, and impossible to reach. They act like they're doing you a favor by simply doing their job. The property is falling apart including leaks, pests, and broken amenities are just part of daily life here. Not to mention the abundance of trash and dog shit & smell of piss around the building that sits there for weeks. This company moved us into a building that had a final notice to demolish from the Unsafe properties city of Miami. 4 months later they just told us to move out with no prior notice no compensation. The building is full of mold it stinks so bad the walls and windows leaks apartments are in disarray it is dirty . The building has deteriorated to the point which has become a health and safety issue with tenants becoming sick. The office staff is rude and uneducated. The repairs are not done period. I live in a building managed by Asden for the last 2 years. The first year wasn't bad. This past year they stopped being responsive. I live in a 2 story building on the 1st floor and have a major leak in my bedroom. Had it for 1 year and it has gotten so bad without repair that I have mold growing on my baseboards. I've called multiple times, sent multiple emails with photo and video proof and went to the office where they wouldn't even let me talk to a property manager. I have even told the maintenance manager and nothing. Currently their office phone goes straight to voicemail and the emergency line is disconnected. I don't know what else to do.
