Ascent BoDo Apartments

The property manager, Megan, was exactly what I was looking for when touring properties. I have experienced the effect poor property management can have on tenants, even if the property itself is nice. She gave a great tour of the Bodo Apartments and Ascent's sister property, East End. She was super helpful throughout my application process. Unfortunately, something came up so I ended up canceling my application. Whoever lands the apartment I was looking at, or any other Ascent apartment will be lucky to have Megan as a property manager.

If you want or need to have a reliable internet connection, do NOT move here. I've lived here for four months and the internet has been out multiple times. The building uses copper phone line cables to get internet to units. The building does not have coax outlets, so Sparklight cannot provide a connection. You are forced to use Century Link Quantum Fiber, but as I mentioned, the only connection is with copper phone lines, so it's not fiber. The building owners have failed to update this building to the modern age. They are not responsible owners.

The new manager for Ascent Bodo is awesome! Easy to get in touch with. very understanding and accommodating. Andrew is the best maintenance worker I've ever met. When my water heater had to be replaced, he didn't quit until he was absolutely sure I was good. 8hrs. Never seen any maintenance worker do that. He needs a raise!!!!

I love my little Loft. I am 1.5 blocks away from the river at Ann Morrison Park, two blocks away from JUMP. Within walking distance to everything!! After I get home I don't need my car for anything I just ride the Lime Scooters! I can't imagine living anywhere else.

Being living here for a few months and the leasing staff and maintenance have been nothing but accommodating. From leasing understanding a hardship and work out an agreement to make a payment to Carter, one of the maintenance staff always answering the phone about an issue and resolving it right away. He keeps up with shoveling snow down to wellness checks on leaks and other issues that might occur during weather. It finally is nice to live somewhere where you’re treated like a human being rather than some tenant you expect money from.
