Ascent at CityCentre Apartments

Pool broken for months, stagnant water has turned green. Elevator broken for over a year. Other elevator is in and out. This place may have been good years ago but its disappointing now.

The place seems like it is falling apart - worse yet, there is ZERO sense of urgency from local or corporate management to fix it. I read the review not far below this one commenting about broken elevators and a pool not working and laughed when I read the local reply about ‘ occasionally needing to close the pool’. I can assure you this situation far exceeds “ the occasional need to close a pool”. I have lived here over 2 years and the first year it was closed during warm weather months to retile (poor planning - seems it would be much better to do that during the colder months). Following the tile replacement, the flower bed behind the water feature remained empty of soil with plants lying on the side for approx 1 year. 2026 update: The elevator mentioned in the original post is still broken: broken for more than 6 months now. The other one that "sounded terrifying" got fixed but broke again .. broken for maybe a month now. So both normal elevators are broken. Only the slow freight elevator works. Pool has been broken and empty for about a month too. No mention from management about reimbursing "amenity" fees or any kind of compensation. These apts have been nice and they could be great, but there are several things that make it less attractive. Communication can be better. For example, the pool is closed regularly for several days at a time for chemical treatment, but there are no pool closed signs clearly posted by the pool.
