Asbury Park Apartments

My husband and I have had such a great experience living here! Marilyn and Dana, along with everyone in the office and maintenance team, are truly wonderful. They’re kind, respectful, responsive, and address any issues right away. Communication is always clear and helpful, and you can tell they genuinely care about their residents. As a UF graduate student, it’s been the perfect environment as well. It’s peaceful, great for walking in the neighborhood, and the apartments are spacious. Highly recommend!

One of the biggest mistakes I made was renewing my lease at Asbury Park. During my first year, I experienced numerous issues with roaches, mosquitoes, centipedes, and ants—issues serious enough that I should have vacated the apartment at that time. However, I chose to give the property another chance and renewed my lease in a different unit on an entirely different side of the complex. From the very day I moved into the new unit, problems were immediately apparent. There was little to no water pressure, the bathrooms were not clean, the kitchen was not clean, there was a hole in the tile flooring downstairs, no shower rod and the heater was not working. We lived here in a three-bedroom apartment a little more than a year. I think this is only an apartment complex in GNV, with single storied homes with an attached garage. You will feel like living in a private house rather than an apartment. The view in the back of our house is very scenic, you feel like a forest. We see a lot of birds, including bucks, hawk, owl, cranes, etc., The complex is kid-friendly, and you can feel safe. Elementary and middle schools are within walking distance, UF pediatrics, Publix supermarkets, few restaurants, dance, martial arts, and two banks as well. The maintenance staff are very prompt and solve any issue in a day or two. But the reporting system is a little old school; you have to call/ email/ in-person complaints, there is no portal where you can track

I miss living here so bad. We lived here for 3 years with 2 large dogs and loved it. Neighbors are friendly and you can’t hear anyone through the walls. The neighborhood has tons of trees and big open retention ponds that are rarely flooded so you can walk in the shade at any time during the day or enjoy laying in your backyard. We had an awesome unit with a lanai that looked out to the retention pond and I spent so many hours out there. Really spacious units and lanais, screened immaculately so no bugs will be bothering you. If you’re new to Florida, this is a rarity. Dana at the front office and Arnoldo in maintenance are champions and so helpful.

I love living here! Amazing staff and work orders are done in a timely manner! Marilyn, the manager stays on top of things!
