Arlinghaus Builders

Before I dive in, we have built 2 houses with Arlinghaus so we’ve seen every aspect of the building process. I’ll share the good, the bad, and the ugly. The Good: The selection process, picking floor plan and lot is easy. Of course it is? They are getting your money. That’s the easy part. The Bad: The amount of nail pops we have seen in a new home is outrageous. I understand the house settles and we will see some. I would think that 150-200 nail pops would concern the builder. No, that’s apparently normal and doesn’t concern anyone. They also don’t paint after fixing the nail pops after the year inspection. Yes, the homeowner is the one responsible for finishing the job, not the builder you paid to build your home. It’s in their “contract” to not fix them. An absolute joke. Be prepared

We purchased our home from Arlinghaus Builders in Dec. 2020, it had just finished construction. We met with Ted Arlinghaus for a walkthrough and he was very straightforward and friendly. The home is under warranty and for the first year we went through Arlinghaus Builders directly for any claims. Being a brand new home little issues will pop up here and there. The few times we had to call them they were always very accommodating and helpful, they would have someone out within a day or two to address the problem and always fixed it to our satisfaction. Being first time home buyers it was great dealing with such a good company, we love our home and would recommend Arlinghaus communities to other prospective buyers.

We had an amazing experience building our first house with Arlinghaus builders. Our current home is also an Arlinghaus build that’s 25 years old and solid. We could not be happier!

I waited about a year and a half to do this review because I wanted a non knee jerk reaction honest opinion. Arlinghaus finished building my home on Nov 2021. I was extremely excited for a new build. However; this was my bad experiences. Plumbing (Awful): 1. When we came and looked at our house while it was being built. My wife and I went upstairs alone to check out the new bedroom carpet when We heard water. The sink was flooding the entire upstairs master bathroom. The workers rushed upstairs to fix the issue but we never heard about it again. 2. About a month in I utilized my guest bathroom shower. It leaked through the unsealed drain all the way down into my Basement. This soaked my drywall/ceiling in my office and my basement. They came and fixed this and didn’t paint it. Said they

I purchased a house from Arlinghaus builders in Westbrook Estates They We’re very helpful and worked with me on everything I was looking for Jill and Shay Made sure that everything I wanted was perfect I couldn’t be more pleased with The service they provide they go above and beyond I don’t normally post reviews But I feel this one is well deserved as it’s The second house I purchased from Arlinghaus builders even Joe and Chris came out and helped me with my yard they are hands-down the best company I have ever purchased anything from most companies won’t come out after your warranty expires and try to help you anyway they can but they do so I surely recommend them if you’re looking to have a house built they are so Beautiful and stand out above the rest Thanks Arlinghaus
