Argon Apartments

Having lived here for over 6 years, I definitely love living here! The apartment is great with all of its windows. The building it maintained extremely, including cleaning. The maintenance staff is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. And, the management folks are great.

Argon is truly a hidden gem. I've lived in 8 states in countless apartments/houses and this is hands down the best. I have a corner unit and the light and high ceilings are amazing. If anything breaks or wears down, the maintenance staff as well as anyone you talk to at Argon are responsive, super friendly, and solve the problem even if it means replacing something. The walls and construction of this place keep out virtually all neighbor noise. I've lived here for 2 years and I have still never heard a neighbor's voice through any of the walls. You also can't beat the location. It's a perfect location for walking to breweries/restaurants in Scott's Addition, as well as walking distance to VMFA, the Fan and many other places. I've been here a year now and my fiancée’s been here for about two, and it's been a great place to live. The location is hard to beat. You're right by Scott’s Addition with a ton of bars and restaurants, close to the VMFA and the Museum District, and Carytown’s just south with good shopping and food options. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable. You’ll hear the occasional apartment noise, but nothing out of the ordinary. There's an elevator, a pool table, vending and coffee machines on the first floor, and a decently sized gym. Outside there's seating and a grill which is nice to have. I have lived here through the different ownership groups. I would say for myself the most important things are responsiveness. The maintenance team is pretty responsive to requests. The office team is pretty responsive as well. Whenever I have an issue I feel like they listen even if it is not necessarily my preferred outcome it is still a reasoned approach and conversation. The one flag is that if there is a fire alarm the elevator will be down. I feel like the fire department breaks the elevator/does not know how to reset it but the team does have after hours support. It just came take some time to get the elevator back up and running. This is not from a lack in of trying or communication from the office team. It is just something to be aware of if you need it.

I had a great pre-rental experience, shout out Savannah for sharing videos and photos, walking me through the application process, answering dozens of questions, and just being a kind human. I've moved 6 or 7 times in the past few years and this has been the least stressful experience. I get the feeling that the management is responsive and the community is kind.
