Arbor Apartments

Arbor has been my home since 2020. I have always loved the peace and quiet here! Neighbor’s are respectful and courteous. You will never feel unsafe, the pool is always open year round. Repair requests are addressed promptly. I once had my ac go out in the summer at midnight and within 2hrs I had a temporary space unit and the very next day it was fixed! The community is very lovely despite it being a little older. My 1bdrm unit is small, but perfect for me (I even have a small desk area for work), and the privacy of the patio -makes great to sit outside to enjoy the weather or summer nights! It also makes you feel like you have an added layer of protection. Needed repair of my AC. They were there next morning and fixed. Impressive. Better than last five apartment complexes I lived in before now. Paul, the maintenance worker at Arbor has been very helpful since I moved into the Arbor Apartments. He made the move and the small, nagging issues associated with a move go away and get resolved quickly. Very happy to be here and with Paul providing the maintenance backup, convinced my stay and experience living here will be positive. Once again, in Dec. '23, maintenance outdid themselves. Put in request to look at outdoor outlet I use for Christmas lights last night at 8:00. This morning at 10:30 Tyesha showed up and fixed it in 5 minutes. Love maintenance service I get in this apartment complex, unlike other ones I have lived at.

EDIT: The maintenance workers (Paul and Toby) came by while I was at work and fixed all of the issues! They even installed a new showerhead that I had bought and was just sitting on the counter. They went above and beyond the call of duty and I am so grateful! There are a few maintenance issues that have not been resolved and it has been two weeks, but the property manager is very understanding and is in the middle of switching maintenance personnel which is understandable. So far the move-in process has been very smooth, and my two weeks living here have been great! The outdoor patio area was kind of a mess but everything else was clean when I moved in.

This was the only available apartment when my daughter decided to attend UF. We would have been better off in the dorm. It’s full of mold and mildew which you can smell the second you walk in. Insulation sucks so turning on the AC or heat is pointless. Shower drain and toilet always clogs no matter how many times maintenance is called. Left the apartment cleaner than when my child moved in. Inspection report stated that everything as in good condition and no damage to walls. Yet they took our entire $500 security deposit plus billed us an additional amount stating that the entire living area needed to be painted. I contested the painting fee and they had no response except that there was some dirt on the wall so everything needed to be painted. Wasn’t dirt…. It was mold. Do yourself a fav

Would definitely recommend for students! Bus stop is near and the maintenance is very responsive. I had issues with the AC when I moved in in the middle of the summer and they fixed it by the end of the day. The units are very decent for what you pay. The person in charge changed recently, and she was super helpful. I haven’t had any interactions with the new one.
