Warning, Read the contract before signing. Just because you get a CO doesn’t mean your house is finished. Once they get a CO they want their balance paid in full. You will be under construction for a yr after u move in, cleaning up all the contractors mess and being a prisoner in your own home because Jim Sanders failed to do his job and not check on any of his contractors work which is basically why you would hire him in the first place. He waits for you to report any Hack jobs his contractors did. Sandstar will have the contractor come back only to do the job half ass again only to beat up, scratch , and destroy something else. Jim and his team built our house in 2013. The model home was just what we wanted, but we needed more space. He and the Rutenberg design team revised the plan, and then built it to perfection to fit a unique lot and our needs. It's still admired by neighbors and guests! As the proud owners of the first Rutenberg home built in PGI by Jim Sanders, I can say the experience rates the full FIVE STARS. Our home is now over ten years old, and people still comment on the quality of build when seeing the home for the first time. I can also attest to the ten year structural warranty, as we recently had an issue with settlement and cracked floor tile. This was fixed quickly and with little disruption to our lives. We have had a great experience with the AR team. From the visits to check construction to the finished product Jim, Larry and their crew walked us through each segment.
