Applewood Pointe Apartments

I dealt with Kim for my leasing process. The property is pretty clean and they redid the lot. No potholes but the parking lot isn’t level due to the terrain. Haven’t seen any bugs besides one spider. Rent for my unit is 1250 before surcharge and pet fees, totals to about 1400. I feel like it’s worth it. Doesn’t smell like cigarettes or weed which is awesome and it’s also a non smoking property. Kim has been very helpful with any questions and she is very communicative. That’s hard to find with a leasing office in my experience. Overall, if you’re looking for a decent place that has updated appliances and solid management this is it for you. I’ll edit my review if things change, fingers crossed it stays this good!

I’ve been living here, not quite six years, and I have lived in a few other complexes before and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with the way I am treated and the way things are taken care of around here. There is a person here named Kim who I guess you would call assistant manager/building caretaker and if you really want to get something done just talk to Kim. she’s pleasant to talk to and she understands people’s needs when you put in a maintenance request Kim make sure that these things will be taken care of promptly. For the price and the amenities that this place provides, I believe this is a really good deal and to be treated fairly, and promptly makes a big difference!

I’ve been living here for over a year now, the apartments are well kept up and Kim the property manager we have dealt with since we arrived and she is wonderful, attentive, resourceful, very easy to talk to and her problem solving skills are always impressive. As long as she is here taking care of us I will probably stay.

If this place having roaches isn’t enough, wait until you hear about how they treat their tenants. As far as this apartment goes, it is one of the worst-managed I have ever seen. Management became aggressive when we inquired about breaking our lease because we finally bought a house. Management also walked into our apartment without a 24 hr notice of entry, which is required by Nebraska state law, and walked in on me half-naked in a robe. Maintenance left messes, often, on our apartment that led to my son choking on debris that had no business being left in our apartment, as it had nothing to do with our maintenance request. I scheduled a tour for my son and I and Kim was absolutely amazing! The previous tenant had just moved out, Kim did a wonderful job explaining what things still needed to be done/cleaned. Kim has been super helpful during the application process and has been available for any questions or concerns that I’ve had.
