I live near these new home construction sites in Livingston Parish, and the experience has been consistently frustrating and unpleasant!!! The workers frequently block the road, making it difficult and sometimes dangerous for neighbors, as well as school buses to get through. There is trash scattered all over the area -- it often ends up in ditches, our yards, and along the street! Contractors have also been seen using residents' private driveways to turn around, without permission or regard for property boundaries. This has happened repeatedly, and it's intrusive and inconsiderate. Even worse, I and others have witnessed some of the contractors urinating in public -- in the street and even between the houses being built. This is not only unsanitary, but also incredibly disrespectfu

Absolutely love this company. I’ve had my home for two years now (new construction) When my AC started giving me problems, I emailed the company. Not even 12 hours later I have emails from Danielle and John Rimes working on making sure the issue was resolved. My new construction warranty with them expired after the first year and they still went above and beyond to make sure the quality of their homes are built to last. I have no complaints and appreciate their response to make sure I have a great home for my family.

There are always bumps in the road with new construction, that is inevitable. Danielle, Amber, and Brandon (the owner of AP Dodson) were always quick to respond when any issue arose. They handled questions and concerns in a professional manner and are continuing to do so after the sale. Brandon even asks for constructive criticism from clients as a way to improve on his next build, which is amazing. We have a beautiful home to make memories in for years to come. Thank you :)

I have been very pleased with the Team at AP Dodson. They are always very pleasant to speak with. If something doesn’t go as planned they made it right. When times were frustrating not necessary with something they did but in general they were very thoughtful and would show up with a special gift. The thought that they notice it was not a good day and tried to make the day better is what matters. The experience was the easiest to go through. They sold our other house as well and made it so simple. Both process we may have spent a few hours filling out the paper work at the time that worked best for us to complete. These people built my house in 2019. The floor plan is beautiful, as well as the lot it is built on. However, the contractors they hired are not the best. The tile guy had to redo my tile 3 separate times and we discovered recently it still wasn't right and had to redo it ourselves. My ac was installed incorrectly and had to serviced 9 times in the first 90 days before being replaced. My trim has come apart and had to be reattached and recaulked. My sheetrock had to be redone in places because it was uneven There are visible seams all over. My shower door is the wrong color and backwards and I was told they didn't offer a shower door in bronze (not true). The painters didn't clean the cabinets before spraying them so the paint is not smooth,, especially in corners and they sprayed over th
