Words cannot express how terrible this place is to live. The area is super dangerous with actual criminals walking up and down the road all day and night. The house next door had the SWAT team bust down the door and actually kill the guy living there after bullets were fired in the direction of our unit. Cops have been called almost every weekend while living here due to outrageous parties in the Checker's parking lot. The parking lot is super small and hard to park in, and if someone parks in your designated spot, the towing company takes hours to come. We put in a maintenance request for a flooding dishwater and when I returned home, the worker had used MY personal roll of paper towels and my tea towels and tried to hide the fact that he THREW THEM AWAY. The first night I moved in while I put trash around 5:30pm at the dumpster, I heard someone talking behind the dumpster which is surrounded by a wooden fence. When I peeked through the gap of the fence I saw 2 guys sitting there sitting there and talking. Few minutes later I saw another 2 guys walked in and joined them. Their action and activities were very suspicious and make people feel unsafe especially at night.

Way too expensive for what's offered. Lived here for a year and after the new owners took over they doubled the price while not improving the place at all. The parking lot is so small and requires some hard maneuvering. Also the neighborhood isn't that nice. Once a week, neighborhood gangs have parties until 4am and with no soundproofing in the apt, it shakes the whole complex and won't let you sleep.
