ANOVA uCity Square

I wish I could give 4.8 stars but since we can only give whole star ratings this is mine! There’s only a couple minor cons which are the elevators being extremely slow, and very often at least one is down. The other issues are ones that are issues you’ll have in any apartment, like the fire alarms going off a couple times a year and the walls are pretty thin and it’s easy to hear what’s happening in the apartments, especially above you. The events, quality of life, responsiveness of managers, 24/7 concierge, maintenance resolving issues makes this an amazing place to live. The cost is more than other places but I think the attentiveness of the apartment maintenance and management makes the cost well worth it. This apartment building is definitely on the expensive side, but compared to other apartments in the area, the price IS worth it because of all the amenities. A lot of apartments in the area are either the same price or only a little cheaper, and that small difference in price isn’t worth it when it means a lot less amenities. We have a gym, pool, hot tub, grills, common areas, game area, study areas, and even a package service, which is super convenient. They also host fun community events which, as a student, is my favorite part about living here for sure. There are a lot of fees upfront when you first move in, which can be a bit overwhelming, but so far it’s been worth it. As someone who has lived in a few different apartment complexes in the area, ANOVA has definitely been my favorite. They have great amenities and fun community events as well. The location is great for me as a Drexel student, including lots of public and private areas to do work if I ever want a change of scenery from my dorm. Everyone has always been kind and helpful with my questions or requests. I would absolutely recommend it to any upperclassman/graduate students!

I’ve really enjoyed living at ANOVA. The windows in the units are large and provide great natural light! The maintenance is prompt for the most part, and all the staff is kind and helpful. Unfortunately one of the elevators was broken for multiple months, they closed the hot tub and pool in late October, and the walls and floors are quite thin (you can often hear neighbors next to you and people deceive hearing every footsteps of upstairs neighbors). I would have loved to use the hot tub in the winter months! Overall ANOVA has been a good place to live in Philly.

Anova has been a great place to live so far! The people in the leasing office and front desk have always been very helpful and the amenities are great! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the maintenance team does not have a lot of urgency. They get the work done eventually but it takes time
