Anne Place Apartments

This place has turned into an absolute dump in the last year. First you can never get in touch with anyone in the office via telephone. Then it takes an act of congress to get anything fixed in your unit. The property used to be well maintained, but now the grounds are mismanaged, trash everywhere, and the breezeways are deplorable and filthy, with a fragrance of piss and marijuana. It is truly ashamed of how this once beautiful complex has become 😡

Do not move here. They hired a new manager, Gwen Jackson, maybe a year ago and she has no business being in charge of anyone's living arrangements. We lived here from July 2020 to April 2025. We were fortunate enough to be able to move out of here. We needed her to fill out a rental verification form, and she lied and stated we had been over 30 days late 5 times in the last 12 months and also indicated that we were breaking our lease, which under the lease terms, purchasing a home was an approved reason to move without penalty. I called her to correct these issues, and she stated she would get to it the next day, but we needed it to close on our house that day. The place was nice when we moved in (about five years ago) the apartments are huge great location and reasonably priced. Maintenance could have been better, the pool was closed but once a year. Trash was only picked up once a week on the property. That was mostly because they only have one maintenance guy. But overall the property wasn't bad. But when the Gwen Jackson took over as property manager the property suffered. Landscaping wasn't being handled regularly, she made it inconvenient for anyone who had a job to do the renewing paperwork as she gets there at 12pm and leaves at 4pm. You never know if someone was in your apartment there isn't a notice detailing what is done. If there's an inspection she'd break the lease by not telling us the week it's supposed to happen. Put an application in and paid the fee. No call back and refused a refund of application fee. 1. I handed the application to an older lady, she said she would call me after my credit check returns. Nothing about additional procedures. 2. I tried calling 15 times during business hours, no answer. 3. Stop the lies. You all are fully booked but collecting application fees to line your pockets.

I'm writing a review on behalf my daughter,her AC unit has been out over 5 times and its still out as of 10/30/2023 she pay her rent every month and this not right for you to do her like this .We have been in the 3 digit temperture this summer and this needs to be address ASAP.
