America's Home Place - Fredericksburg, VA

We just finished building our custom home with America's Home Place and I can't say enough good things about our experience. These folks really know how to take care of their customers! Right from the start, Howard Brown made us feel so welcome. He wasn't just trying to make a sale - he genuinely cared about what we wanted and made sure we felt comfortable with every decision. It really did feel like we were working with family instead of just another builder. I'll be honest, we were nervous about the whole process, especially staying on schedule. But America's Home Place actually did what they said they'd do! They hit every deadline they promised, which was such a relief. Our project manager Jason was incredible. We cannot say thank you enough about how comfortable we feel to have had America's Home Place build our final dream home. We checked out numerous builders but due to the limited access to our property ONLY AHP could help. We were always impressed with the quality of their services from design to finish. There were a few issues during the construction process but they were always so compassionate and determined to make it right. From our initial contact with Greg, Steve and Howard helping us customize the Modern Farmhouse to make it exactly what we wanted, with the drafting teams assistance, to Steve with their teams seeing it through to the final design stages. We started ground breaking with America’s Home Place April 2, 2025 and today, just over 4 months, we settled and are heading to our brand new custom forever home with the keys!!!! They have been the best builders/team ever!! We do not have one single complaint. If any concerns may have arose they settled it immediately and without any hassle. We began our search after meeting with other builders in November 2024 with Cousin Howard. He explained everything with such detail and left no question unanswered. This review has taken us too long to complete! We had our home built by America’s home place about 2 years ago. They were incredible to work with!! We had a lot going on and they were always patient and friendly even though we called them so often. They truly went above and beyond to build us a home we adore. We are so grateful to AHP and I recommend them to anyone who is even slightly interested in building a home.

Our realtor Tiffany highly recommended America’s Home Place, as they built her home, and we now understand why! We had our initial meeting with Howard and Bethany this past weekend and were absolutely blown away. What we expected to be a quick hour-long visit turned into an incredible four-hour experience. Howard graciously stayed two hours after the store had closed to walk us through the different models and patiently answer all of our questions. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, warmth, and genuine care made the process fun and informative. We couldn’t be more impressed and are excited for the journey ahead!
