I’m dealing with all the same issues reported in these negative reviews. I have a flooding issue in my yard that I opened a multiple work orders for because they close it stating it’s resolved without any communication or solution. My follow up emails to the property manager are ignored for weeks at a time and when they reply the just give me the run around. Mind you I’m paying for monthly lawn service.

We’ve been renting a property from American Property Management for about 2yrs. now. Let’s just say this company was struggling to say the least. There was no communication, the turnover of people was through the roof. And there was multiple things that were said that were not across the board in communication to us. I really want to tell you that Vicky has been a God sent to American Property Management. She told me that she was going to turn this company around and I have sincerely seen that. I now get updates constantly from the desk girl on what will happen. I get Vicky personally calling me and doing exactly what she says. I have used American Property Management for more than ten years. I have been through ups and downs as staff has changed. There was a while after Andy left that we were not pleased with the service. But since Vicki joined, we have seen significant improvements with the overall service. We recently acquired another property in the Boise area with many special requests including the seller wanting to rent back the house for a month and taking the fridge with them etc. VIcki took care of everything including shopping for a new fridge and getting the property rented out in just a few weeks . We are very happy with VIcki and the current staff and would recommend the service for anyone seeking a flexible manager with a great attitude in the Boise area.

I would never trust this company with any of my properties. They do not respond to phone calls or emails. Even when you try to stop by their office they are never there. I can't even imagine what I would do if there was ever an emergency or maintenance needed that was urgent because I can never get a hold of them. Update: Had to sue them in small claims court to get our deposit and half of the month rent back they owed us. It seemed like ignoring their customers and navigating the court system was just a normal part of their business. I would never trust them to manage anything I owned.

Worst property management ever!!!! I recommend nobody to rent from these people my heat was off for 11 days and I have a 8 month daughter and we didn't hear nothing back for 11 days... they always act like they tried to reach out but they never do they stall you out, lie, and don't care about there tenants in no way shape or form... my backdoor was broke for months and the lady that came over for an inspection. Said it was an emergency and it would be fixed still never got fixed even up to the day we moved!!!! if you have an issue with your house and It pertains to your well being like heat for my 8 month yr old they'll tell you we need to talk tonthe owner before we can help you with something like that!!!!
