I rented a duplex through them for just under 3 years. During my time there I never once had a smoke detector. When I moved I later received a bill in the mail charging me to install a smoke detector. This is just one of the very many things that they scammed me for. They will scam you out of your money every chance they can get. I also was charged $500 to repair the linoleum kitchen floor that I did not damage. I had reported it being damaged by their contractor that they send in to fix everything in every one of their houses and they never took note of that just so they could charge me for it when I moved out. I could go on and on, this is just a small portion of it.

Carla and the entire AHR team have always been an excellent company. My father used them for his needs and I have personally entrusted them with a complicated real estate venture. They are are honest, hardworking, and trustworthy. Highly recommend!

My experience with Dean as a landlord has been exceptional. He does a great job of caring for the house and my family. He had an exterminator come spray for spiders because I am scared of them. He had a plumber come fix a toilet that would run all the time. When I realized there was nowhere to put an air filter in the new AC unit he had someone come fix that. Then, recently my garage door fell off and he ordered parts to get it fixed. He provided me with contact information for someone who would haul off a sofa and love seat that I needed to have removed. Finally, when my toddler locked me out of my house, he made it over faster than the police to help me figure out how to get in. My rental home is a “home” because of all the work and attentive care my landlord provides.
