Amber was wonderful to work with once again for our mortgage loan. This was our second time working with Amber. Both times we worked with her were great experiences but this time felt so much easier than the first! She promptly answered every question we had. We had curve balls thrown at us with the government shut, our buyers of our home we were selling had a USDA loan so we were kind of just stuck for a little bit waiting on the government to open back up. Amber did a great job transitioning us from a construction loan to a conventional home loan when our house was completed. When we had issues with our buyer of our former home and the transaction was delayed she helped us manage the process and reschedule things to still complete our transaction on the new house without any problems. The bank also made things easy with remote signing of documents, which was critical since we were not living in the area during construction. The team at First State Community Bank, particularly Amber, made the whole process easy. She is very thorough and looked out for our interests from working with our insurance agent, interfacing with the title company, and also locking in a good rate for us at the right time.
