Amber Crest Apartments

So the manager, maria used to be very helpful and attentive to our needs. She helped me resolve a hit and run on my honda in the parking lot, by providing video to me. Now, both of our cars are getting vandalized by the new neighbors that moved in because they parked in our spot and we got them towed away. Maria told us that's a police matter and that she manages the building and not people. Very condicending attitude to say the least. A simple letter to all tenants stating vandalism and parking in unassigned parking spots will not be tolerated and will result in eviction, would be a great gesture that she's trying to help. Instead, in so many words, she's telling us that's our problem. I'm very disappointed in the way she handled this matter and do not recommend renting here to anyone,

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Good - Excellent location in Canyon Crest for UCR students, employees and faculty. Conveniently located, next to the Canyon Crest shopping center and major freeways. The Bad - Doctored photos that intentionally misinform applicant's about the apartment's size and quality. Please be aware, the apartments look NOTHING like the photos in the Craigslist ads or anywhere else. The tubs and showers are tiny. An adult cannot fit in the tubs and can barely turn around in the shower. The shower legitimately has to be around two feet by two feet. And the water smells...weird, as if something has died in the pipes. I cannot prove the units are all electric but the electric bills are on average $200-400 monthly, which is ridiculously considering the air conditio

I moved when new management arrived. I can honestly say she has provided me with the best service. She truly cares about the tenants and works very hard to satisfy needs. She’s always just a text message away, and really makes me feel important! This is my first time renting an apartment, but she immediately made me feel at home and completely comfortable. I am always texting her with concerns and just little updates. She appreciates all feedback, and really wants to change this apartment around! To top it off all apartments are being renovated. Maintence works really hard and he’s always around to help with whatever he can. I spend hours sometimes in her office just chatting about whatever. Not only is she apartment manager but a friend to me! Really appreciate the hospitality!

First off, I have lived here (and currently) since Feb 2018. The property manager has always been great and courteous. Maintenance is prompt in responding after an issue is brought up and I can't speak for all of the buildings but in my building I have never seen a single roach. I think the lesson here, with the many negative reviews, is that the negative reviews probably stem from people that couldn't follow directions or were problems in their own right.

Good evening, just to start off and to make it clear I would've rated this review an zero but in order for me to post this comment I would have to rate it something. With that out of the way now, these are some reasons as to why I would never recommend these apartments but to make this clear; the apartments themselves are newly remodeled and are in okay living conditions. The maintenance worker is very professional, respectful, and kind towards the tenants that live in these apartments; However, when I first moved in the first manager that assisted us was very courteous towards my family and I until she unfortunately was replaced with an disrespectful manager. This manager would falsified documents, fabricate unrealistic rules, and over use her authority as a manager but even though we bro
