Altoview Apartments is nothing short of amazing! Since the day that I toured, I have noticed how they go above and beyond for their tenants. I moved to Virginia from up North so when I came to town prior to moving here, I tried to look at some potential apartments before I left. I came to Altoview without any prior notice and I figured the worst they could say is they didn’t have time to show me around or tell me about the community. But Garrett was so warm, welcoming and accommodating. He made the time to show me the various floor plans they had available and go through all the information about the apartments and the application process on such short notice. The apartment community itself is beautiful. The gym and the club house is clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool is so relax

Moving to an apartment after many years in a house, I was a bit concerned about the transition. I've been living here for several months now and it is wonderful. The apartment is bright and clean, the facilities are luxurious, the property is well maintained and the staff is very friendly, responsive and helpful. The area around Altoview is filled with greenery, with many lovely views. If you are looking for an apartment in Charlottesville, I strongly recommend that you visit Altoview.

As a concerned son, I feel compelled to warn others about the serious safety issues at Altoview Apartments. My mother lives here, and I am deeply troubled by the lack of access control, the absence of a courtesy officer, and the complete disregard from on-site management when it comes to resident safety. There have been multiple instances of sketchy activity near the property, yet the management continues to brush off concerns instead of taking meaningful action. The fact that anyone can walk onto the premises without restriction is a major red flag. There is no gated access, no security presence, and no real effort to deter unwanted visitors. This creates an unsafe environment, especially for seniors, single residents, and families. To make matters worse, the on-site staff shows zero sy
