If you want to save yourself from constant headaches, DO NOT rent from this company. Anya, the only person who ever works at the front desk, constantly says that she will take a message and relay it to the manager (Jonathan Casner), but after not hearing back after several days and asking him about the message, he always says that there never was one. I am not sure why she still has a job there as this has been an ongoing problem for over a year. I've called about emergencies and have been nothing but polite when calling, but yet, it seems like they just don't care. When we first moved in, we were only given one key, and they asked US to make a copy and they would reimburse us, which is super unprofessional. i rent a privately owned unit at this building, and while our landlord and maintenance staff have been phenomenal with professionalism, timeliness, and empathy, the leasing office is anything but. multiple times i have been told that accommodations can be met with certain issues (i.e. an extra parking spot), then a week later to follow-up i am always met with “whoever told you that was wrong.” another example, they only allow guests for move-in (i think, because i’ve been told otherwise!!) so when asked about where visitors SHOULD park (note, after being booted), the manager suggested an apartment complex they do not own…for a guest. what kind of place does not allow visitors for more than a day?? the manager was extremely condescending when i asked for better communication, saying i was “

This realty company does not care about you as a tenant. All they want is your money. They are rude and extremely unprofessional. Do NOT rent from them. Service tickets are rarely ever addressed in a timely manner, if at all. And they will overcharge you after you move out. Save yourself the headache and avoid Alligator Realty at all costs.

Alligator realty seems to mess up almost everything they touch except for their decision in hiring Jose from maintenance.. Jose is reliable, trustworthy, and the only one who seems to care about his job and well being of the tenants..

They have unknown fees and have refused to return my deposit. As a rule they keep half of the deposit, then find ridiculous reasons to not return deposit. Be wary of this reality company. Poor service and properties not maintained. Charged us for new folding doors when the door fell off the pins. Never again with these people.
