I have lived at Monarch Villas long enough to confidently say the quality of living here has gone downhill severely. The water issues alone are unacceptable. Hot water takes 30–45 minutes to come through (if it comes at all), and there are frequent “maintenance projects” that shut water off with little notice and no real improvement afterward. This has been an ongoing problem, not a one time inconvenience. Just a few of the water outages and hot water issues this year alone occurred but not limited to on September 30, December 12th–17th, January 22nd, February 26th, and March 27th. Today, I once again came home from work to no water at all, with no notice provided to residents and no one available in the office. I moved out of my apartment at Lofts at Eden on September 30, 2025, and I still have not received my security deposit back or any written explanation about why it is being withheld. I left the unit in good condition and provided my forwarding information, but communication from the office has been very poor. I have had to follow up multiple times with no clear answer or timeline. Residents should not have to chase down their own money after moving out. I would caution anyone considering renting here to be prepared for potential issues with getting your deposit refunded.
I am submitting this review to document the ongoing issues I have experienced as a resident of Augusta Place Apartments. Over the course of my tenancy, I have dealt with multiple sewage leaks coming through my bathroom ceiling, creating unsafe and unsanitary living conditions for myself and my child. Despite reporting each incident promptly, the response from management has consistently been delayed, poorly coordinated, and lacking urgency. The communication from management has been inadequate, often leaving me without updates or clear timelines for when repairs or proper sanitation would occur. While maintenance has addressed the leaks temporarily, the underlying issue has not been permanently resolved, causing repeated disturbances and serious health concerns. I am filing this review t
They owned Harmony Plaza Apartments for almost 2 years and it's been a nightmare. The sent us an email on the 21th of this month (November) saying they were were leaving on the 24th and a new owner would contact us. So far no one has shown up. Im not sure if it was under the instructions of Shenita Baskerville (apartment manager), the maintenance technician took all the HVAC units from the empty apartments (at least 70% of the apartments are vacant...smh. My HVAC unit hasn't worked all year and Ms. Baskerville has lied to me numerous times about fixing it. I thought she was the problem but apparently it starts higher up.
This group property that owns Garden Cove in Huntsville, Alabama is a slum landlord that won’t handle anything serious nor take you serious as a paying rental resident. My experience in 9 months with this company is horrible! The apartment I moved into wasn’t completely finished! After 4 months and putting in work orders nothing has been done, checked on looked at or fixed at all! The work orders just keep accumulating! Called corporate to make a complaint and still as of yet been contacted to complete this matter at hand! Been putting in orders since Dec and still nothing and it’s 3/7/25. My oven hasn’t worked in 3 weeks and they haven’t made it a priority to get fixed or swapped out! I’m highly upset because I spend over $1100 living here in rent and they’re not even worth the price!
