Alexan Evans Station

We've lived at Alexan Evans for seven months now and have loved it! The apartments are modern and beautiful and either the walls are thick or my neighbors are very quiet because I never hear them. The mini mart is super convenient and the gym is well equipped and kept clean. They even have some private rooms you can use for stretching, etc. The staff is great. Ashley and Senia recently went out of their way to help me track down a missing package! Eric from maintenance was very helpful when we first moved in and even gave me some great recommendations for places to check out in Denver. The cleaning crew does a great job and I always run into them on the weekdays when I’m not at work. The trash valet service is really convenient. I just moved here within the last few weeks, and I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Alexan and my leasing agent, Calvin!!! Calvin made everything super easy - I had several questions on a quick move turnaround and he was always attentive and answered as soon as he could! The whole office is so nice and it’s refreshing to walk in and feel welcome in your own home. The property itself is great, especially if you’re an active person. You’re 2 miles from wash park (lots of running/cycling), and the platte river trail is basically a half mile west and that trail is great for running and cycling also. This was an extremely disappointing place to live, largely due to poor communication and disorganization within the management office. When I attempted to complete a lease transfer, the main manager assured me she was handling it. However, on the day of the transfer, I arrived at the office to find that no one was aware of it and nothing had been prepared. No accommodation or discount was offered despite the inconvenience caused by their error. After moving out, I left the apartment in excellent, spotlessly clean condition. Despite this, I was charged additional fees and denied the return of my security deposit. I’ve really enjoyed living in this apartment community. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and they put on fun events that make it easy to meet neighbors and feel connected. The shared community areas are clean, comfortable, and well-designed. That said, it *is* an apartment complex, which means you’re still sharing space with lots of people and you get those occasional people who just don’t pick up after their dog or leave trash out but the team does their best at going around making sure everything is picked up, fixed and cleaned as well at they can. Overall, the positives far outweigh the small annoyances. Great atmosphere, great staff, great community vibe. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a friendly place to call home!

Live here if you want to be in a neighborhood where you can cut the tension with a knife and don’t mind the smell of dog feces and urine. There are over 130 dogs in this apartment complex and it smells like it too. Many dogs can’t hold it anymore at the end of the day when their owners come home and it ends up in the hallways/stairwells. Or, as soon as they make it out the doors outside, they release themselves. So the entire perimeter of the apartments smells like dog waste. Even the mulch has turned green from all of the dog waste build up. You can smell it before you even reach the apartments - it is that bad.
