Alder House Apartments

The apartments are affordable, offering both private space and community. Social services are offered on site which is tremendously convenient and helpful. The food pantries help persons on a limited budget without the necessity of leaving the building or carrying groceries. Whole Foods and Fred Meyer are close by. Transportation is a block away. However, 4 weeks later- The staff are not here all weekend and tonight a troubled tenant who calls herself Gerund banged on my door, threatened to.break my door down while i was inside yelling about missing my computer glasses. She then called the cops and told them i was throwing things out the window and beating my service dog-all pure fabrication. The apartments are nice, but when there is an unmanageable tenant like Gerund, they do nothing. I

Alder house was a place I called home. The people are friendly and welcomed me. And the assistant manger is awesome. This was my safe place and I enjoy living at Alder house, the maintenance man goes above and beyond too. If you are looking at living here, I think you will enjoy :)

I have lived here for 6 months, I love it. Staff is amazing and caring, and the place is kept very clean. Shannon and Harold both go above and beyond for their tenants., and we are blessed to have Gerry as our new manager. I would highly recommend alder house!

The apartments are adorable in the greatest location ever but it is the staff that makes this place special I love this place

Thank goddess TPI found an SRO in a building where my neighbors aren't all batshit crazy and drugged out. Alder house is a quite cozy gem amongst the rough PDX post-homeless scene.
