Alana Apartments

Living at Alana Apartments was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with housing. This place is a complete joke. For 15 months, we dealt with constant problems that management ignored, denied, or tried to blame on us. There are cops here constantly, dog pee everywhere, trash all over the property, and people who don’t clean up after their animals. It never smells clean and it never feels safe. The community looks nice in photos but the reality is absolutely disgusting. Inside our unit, we dealt with multiple plumbing leaks from above and below. Maintenance had to come into our apartment several times because their pipes kept failing. Because of THEIR issues, mold grew in our main room — and now they are trying to make us pay for it. I have lived here for over a year now and this has been the best apartment experience I have had. The personnel who work in the leasing office are top-notch and are always super helpful and reasonable. The maintenance personnel are timely, friendly, and always know what to do. The complex is modern, non-smoking, and user-friendly all the way around. The views in the pool/heated spa/fire pit area are spectacular and the deck/heated spa are open year-round. My only con is that carriers will sometimes leave packages in the exposed mailroom and not in the dedicated mailroom for packages. Though this is a small con and more on the carrier than Alana. My partner and I have lived here for over a year and chose to renew our lease for another 14-months. We have had an overall positive experience and would recommend this community to others. While we have had a few bumps in the road, management has been very accommodating and quick to resolve everything. HUGE shoutout to Terin, Layney, and the rest of the staff! This is definitely not a fake review like some people have mentioned. We have just had a good experience and have been respectful to the staff. A lot of the negative reviews that are left for the community are direct results of vendors not doing their job properly or residents being lazy. We have had nothing short of an amazing experience at Alana! The staff are the kindest people! We love all of the amenities and everything is kept up well! Sami and Terin both have been incredibly helpful as we have had some complicated requests and moves! I LOVE Alana!

We booked a tour with Jewel over the weekend, and although we haven't moved in, the property looks awesome, especially the clubhouse. Jewel herself was the best leasing professional I've dealt with in the past 20+ years. Explaining everything we needed to know, being ready for weird questions, and overall just being awesome!
