Make yourself a favor a stay away from this community. I purchased my home through Dr Horton; however this subdivision is not owned by Dr Horton it is owned by this developer. I have been receiving extremely high water bills from the HOA company. The water meter is from the city of Houston, the city of Houston bills the HOA company directly, and then the HOA company bills us the water at a volumetric rate of $19.20 for each 1000 gallons, which is insane. They are reselling us the water at a higher rate. I’m literally paying more forwater than electricity. I’m no the only resident of this community who is experiencing the same issue. This needs to be addressed and just have the city of Houston bills us directly.

Very disappointed with the HOA’s water billing. I live alone and use minimal water, yet my monthly water bill is around $120–$130, which is higher than my electricity bill. The fixed fees and rates charged are far above City of Houston rates, and there is little transparency on how vacant homes impact overall costs. Many residents are frustrated and feel overcharged. This needs to be addressed.

If I could give it more stars I would… Buying our first home was something we’ll never forget, and we’re so grateful we got to experience it with Alaia Homes and Greyden Building Group.

My husband and I absolutely love our new home in the Alaia Crossing community. From the moment we moved in, everything has felt thoughtfully designed and built with care. The layout is functional yet beautiful, and the overall quality truly stands out. The neighborhood itself is very peaceful We’re so happy we chose an Alaia home it truly feels like home.
