I applied to Alabama Power to get a permit to repair our dock. I have a dock repair company waiting for the permit to get the job done. Alabama Power refused to give me a permit to repair our dock and told us that we were not authorized to have our dock repaired by a professional company and that they wanted us to remove our dock that we paid for and pay taxes on. Why would a company refuse to let you protect our investment and make it SAFE and make the shoreline look nice. I ask Barry Surrett for the telephone number to someone over his office that I could talk to about this gross injustice and he refused to give me a number and told me to look online for a number and name. Which I tried for an hour looking and could not find that information. We clean up trash from the lake and help remo
I ask them why they drain th lake they don't know that's just what thay do .thay said for flood I rains more in the summer than the winter just leave it at 465
