Aksarben View Apartments

Parking is terrible. Your vehicle will get damaged. The apartment manager is impossible to get a hold of. Cars are constantly being broken into and stolen. Neighbors are shady. We had two drug overdose deaths in the 3 months I was there. When I moved out they destroyed my credit and garnished my wages ($4000 in total) almost 4 years later even though I left the place spotless with no damage.

I rented at Aksarbenview Apartments for several years, where housing provided has gone downhill significantly during that time. After health and safety issues created by the property management, affecting all tenants were ignored- I have made complaints to city code enforcement. And for making legitimate complaints, Collective Development and their property management have retaliated by adding large fees to my ammount due, attempted to demand keys and illegally evict me, and now they are sending me summons for an eviction. For any of their other tenants that have faced their retaliatory or discriminatory behavior, I would recommend having omaha human rights and relations office or Housing and urban development office investigate them, as they are in my case.

Yea I had the same experience experience horrible rodent problem with mice and wen I left my lease early they add the tenant that moved in after I moved out on to my name in collections and corrections have been homeless for quite sometime due to them

Edited after moving out recently. Save yourself and DON’T MOVE HERE! These apartments are a joke, a scam, and poorly mismanaged. They take your deposit even if you cleaned the apartment well enough. Even though utilities were included in the rent, the sheer lack of communication from Property Management, Maintenance or just any other employee is embarrassing. Collective Development cares more about their own pockets than they cared about Aksarben View. Finding out that they’re turning the 2 Bedroom apartment units into Air BnB’s was enough for me to jump ship. Pretty soon I believe they’ll turn the entire property into BnB’s. I wanted to switch to a 2 bedroom, but the property manager couldn’t even bother to contact me after I tried calling them. I’ve had my share of maintenance reque

Over the 2 years that I have lived at Aksarben View, I have zero complaints. The renovated apartments and updated amenities have made it a comfortable and overall great place to call home. Recently they have even put the time and energy towards repairing the parking lots within the apartment complex, which has been greatly appreciated by the residents. The staff and maintenance workers are friendly and more than happy to help if a problem arises (washer/dryer issues, rent/lease inquiries, and personal residence repairs). I can’t speak for everyone else, but I’ve been very happy during my time here.
