Aksarben Title & Escrow

My sister was handling the estate of my deceased father. She had to go in and sign papers for the transaction of selling his home to a buyer. The lady who she dealt with in person was very impersonal and seemed to be in a rush and inconvenienced that she was there to sign the paperwork. Prior to closing my sister got the Sellers Settlement Statement. She had a few questions and called Jean. Jean was snappy and rude when my sister was clarifying a few of the details. A bit of compassion, empathy and professionalism would have been nice from this company and their employees. Docusign was the only positive experience from this transaction and kept it from being a one star review.

Docusign emails were easy, but in-person and phone calls were not great. My dad passed away and we sold his house. When going in to sign, the lady shoved papers at me to sign quickly and got up to leave the room before me; super impersonal. Then I called to ask a question about state taxes on the final settlement docusign and spoke with Jean. She was snappy and made me feel dumb for even calling. I wish I would’ve just emailed her instead. We didn’t pick aksarben title, but when selling personal things in the future, I will make sure to avoid them.

Tammy is the worst customer service person ever. This is our first time selling the house, going through everything was confusing & when I advised that this was difficult & frustrating she said we can contact your husband. I am his wife & handle all business due to him being away at work & unable to. She is rude. Choose another company.

If only we could give zero stars....This company couldn't figure out how to accurately calculate taxes on closing paperwork. What kind of escrow company can't calculate settlement numbers correctly? They chose not to send the closing paperwork to the seller (i.e. me) so I could ensure everything was correct. Although their own paperwork directed them to send the closing documents to me, they chose not to do it. They chose to send it to other parties involved prior to closing so they could review it, but not to me. In my opinion, that is discrimination. Then they refused to take any responsibility for not meeting their obligations. In my opinion, this company lacks competence, honesty and integrity. I would absolutely not recommend this company. We used Aksarban Title and Escrow to close on our mortgage when we bought our house approximately 1.5yrs ago. We recently discovered that there was a lien on our home from the previous owners. It was honestly a simple paperwork issue that was fortunately easily resolvable, but I didn't feel they were very responsive, nor concerned with the matter at all. They were slow to respond to my emails that I sent them requesting explanations. The manager never even responded to my emails I sent him when I was trying to seek out answers and understand what needs to be done to resolve the issue. It took just about 2 weeks to resolve the issue. I absolutely understand mistakes happen, but sometimes a response/explanation, an apology for the inconvenience, and little customer service speaks volumes.
