Stephan Akin is a gem. He walked us through each phase of the home buying process and was there through our closing and beyond. As first time home buyers, we were overwhelmed until Stephan helped us feel confident and comfortable making decisions and actually understanding what we were doing. Akin Mortgage was excellent to work with for financing our mortgage - I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job. Stephan in particular was always available for any questions (even if it interrupted his dinner prep); he also took the time to follow up and make sure we understood everything along the way, turning what can be a tricky process into a painless experience. His associate Christina was very helpful as well, coordinating with my insurance company to make sure everything was lined up for our closing. Looking forward to working with them down the road for refinancing!
