AgTech Gardens

Lived here for 4 years. The units have microwave and washer/dryer inside which is a big plus for a student apartment. The storage space is small in 2 bedroom Then units but fine in the single bedroom ones. The atmosphere is quiet. The maintenance people were friendly and fixed things if put on their portal. The apartment is on the bus route and close to everything in NG area. However as mentioned in several reviews the big hole on the outer road is an issue.

I’m going to leave this here because it’s something that all needs to be addressed and I’m not going to leave anything out. First is the Huge Pot Holes that’s causing Residents tires to Damage. And it’s been that way since 2022. You can’t avoid the Huge Holes because you have to Literally Drive through it to get to your Apartment. And also, there’s so many Apartment Buildings that doesn’t have any Lighting, it’s always Pitch Black and it’s very Difficult to see the Side Walks and People Keep Falling while not being able to see. And, it’s been this way for a very Long Time now. Nothing ever gets Fixed as the Maintenance Guy Complains about how He doesn’t want to do any of the Work that gets Assigned to Him, which is why things doesn’t get Completed. I had such a great experience with AgTech Gardens. I had to delay my graduation a semester last minute and was scrambling to find somewhere livable with a short term lease option. The women running AgTech are so so sweet and accommodating. The person who handled my lease signing went out of her way to get me a ground level apartment because she knew it would be easier with my dog. Its my understanding that the ownership had just changed hands a few months before I moved in and that the previous ones had really let the apartments fall into disrepair. AgTech had everything renovated but I still had a few issues that just come with an old building and their maintenance was so quick to respond and get things taken care of. I have lived here going on 9 months and I have not experienced any issues. This place is perfect for a first time renter that chooses to live alone like myself. My unit had brand new appliances and came newly remodeled. All tile and new wood flooring. Water is free—you just have to pay electricity. Rent is very reasonable considering it’s hard to find a one bedroom in the area that isn’t 1k+ a month. Super cozy and serves it’s purpose. Staff is a text away and usually respond promptly to assist you with whatever you need. ONLY ISSUE is that the closet is pretty small and whoever did the make-ready clean didn’t do a hot job. Female tenant of 2 years, lived in a 1-bedroom in one of the the "renovated" units, upperclassman Texas A&M student. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, safe, reasonably priced complex to stay in near campus (20-25 min walk to Central campus) and NG (10 minute walk). Pros and cons: PROS - Price for a 1 bedroom is the same for the 2 bedrooms (they just put a wall up to split it into two) - so if you want an office or want to live with a friend, it's super cheap to do so. Very reasonable for the NG area as well, where 1bds are minimum $1000. - Noise level is very quiet. Vast majority of tenants are respectful. Students are mostly in the front of the complex near the road and bus stop, with locals/families in the middle and the back. - Complex itself feels very safe,
