We used Adair to build our home we started the Process in 2019, I have a background in construction and understand things take time. We started the build in summer of 2020, I soon realized the Project super would hardly be around, the crews are messy and don't clean up after themselves, We cleaned the job site weekly and once the house was sealed in we cleaned in every few days, we wanted to make sure finished products did not get damaged. we put down cardboard and paper all over the place and the crews they use are reckless and still damaged our expensive flooring, dented our Dishwasher, scratched the Exhaust hood, installed damaged tile trim, they installed HVAC registers crooked these are just a few things that happened. they are quick to say they will be out to fix issues and finish t

I can't say enough about Jeff Lancaster and the Adair crew! While building during COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses downsized. It was because of this I was switched to Jeff as my project manager. I cannot rave anymore about Jeff. 1st off Adair has been a good company to work with for this project, but Jeff has been an amazing liaison and worked diligently with us and did a great job as this is a project he was thrown into halfway through a build. !!!BEWARE!!! TERRIBLE WARRANTY EXPERIENCE Let me start by saying that my Seller used Adair Homes for Building a few homes in our community build in 2023. I have been working with Adair mainly on all warranty requests and defects in the home. My experience with warranty requests are terrible. The builder used a 2-10 warranty under which they are supposed to cover a lot of workmanship items. It has been terrible experiencing getting them to fix the items submitted through warranty request. Their Supervisor Justing contacted me to schedule a few work items, but the appointments were never honored. Let me start by saying that my husband and I love our new home that Adair built. Our house was built on a very challenging site with a steep and long driveway, wetlands, large trees, and our house has some unusual features for the area, like an unfinished daylight basement. There are some things that I would have liked to know about the process in advance, so I’m hopeful that others will find this information helpful.
