I’ve had an excellent experience working with Acorn + Oak, particularly with my property manager Nayara Smyth. Nayara has been incredibly helpful throughout the process of preparing my home as a rental property. She provided valuable guidance on finishing touches of the renovation, helping me identify improvements that would genuinely add value and appeal to potential tenants. After the renovations were complete, she worked diligently to get tenants, even in the slow rental month of December, keeping me informed of progress the entire time. Her expertise and practical advice made what could have been an overwhelming process much more manageable. Home we were told was "beautiful" by agent was absolutely filthy! Agent ignored several complaints regarding the home's lack of cleanliness and spent a week deep cleaning. No hot water in the kitchen and several other issues including insanely high humidity in the home. Never stayed there once due to the issues and charged nearly full rent for multiple months- boxes that were stored there temporarily took on humidity and were falling apart at move out. Worst experience renting I've ever had.
