I loved the exterior of a home they had listed on their website and requested a tour to see interior views. I received a reply that they did not feel comfortable offering tours of customer's homes which is completely understandable. But they never offered to send me a floor plan to review. They are out of Louisiana so they have a local real estate agent, Michael, as their contact. I've contacted him as well but never received a reply from him when I said I want them to build me a home. I even visited his local office but he was not available. Needless to say, I did not hire them to build my home which is probably a blessing. The home built for me, located in Tahician Village, BASTROP TX, by Acadian Homes is only 7 years old and the ceiling sheet rock is beginning to separate. Brandon will not respond to my text messages with pictures. All is well with the homes built by Acadian until you sign the contract. After contract is signed, homeowner is basically ignored. And I am a retired veteran, using a VA loan. Time to contact an attorney, which is really sad.

I bought a house from him and have been in it for ten years now, and I have learned that nearly everything was done incorrectly. The cement base that the house sits on is not level. We have had to removed all of the wood and tile flooring because it began to come up and break or crack. We took a level and saw that there are areas that dip down. The A/C was installed incorrectly, the plumbing under the sink was installed incorrectly. The wood that was used to build the fence is the wrong wood and rotted quickly. There were some small repairs that we agreed would be done shortly after purchase, but they never came out. Do not buy a house from this builder. They only lead to expensive repairs and phone calls that are unanswered.

I live next door to a house he built to sale. It looks like a dump he won't clean the lot & weeds are halfway to the roof!! He is a terrible example for our nieghborhood!
