1. The so-called management office takes at least 48 hours to respond to any request. 2. If you email them, they would tell you to call, if you call they would call you to email. So confused they are among themselves. 3. Without any prior notification, you may find your heater turned off when the temperature is 17.6°F. They usually do this on Thursdays. If you email them on Friday, it will take 48 hours for a response. Here’s the catch—the office is closed on Saturday and Sunday. This means you’ll have to endure the cold until Monday. This has happened to us at least five times during the winter. Till now I cannot think of which weather forecast do they observe to do this kind terrible work? Then of course, they do this purposely. 4. Our kitchen sink broke three times after they replaced t

API is conveniently located directly on Drexel campus, with fair rates for one-bedroom apartments (most other houses you will have to share the kitchen or living space, so having your own place is a plus). HOWEVER- What they don't tell you, is that the heating system is extremely old and the bill in the winter can be upwards of $300, even when the apartment still isn't warm! The security is sub-par with people coming and going into your apartment without your knowledge. There were TONS of mice, and TONS of leaks. While living there I caught about 7 mice. Other drexel students living in API also told me of the major mice issue. Some of the mice died in the walls and caused a reeking smell. In the summer, there are flies. The sink never drained properly (after many maintenance calls, they g

This is an absolutely terrible company to rent from. Maintenance people will come and go from your property without leaving you notification and their administration is down right terrible. Buildings are outdated and have only 1-2 sets of GROUNDED outlets (outlets you can plug your computer, microwave and any other high-draw appliance into). The terms of their leases are designed to put you out of sync with every other student on campus so you are practically FORCED to stay with them due to the unavailability of other housing on campus. Unless you are interested in having unknown persons come and go from your apartment without your knowledge and if you are interested in management with an attitude, I do no recommend API.
